Oh wow...hot stuff that Richard Lui is putting out CNN Pipeline! Definitely makes the work he does look more sleek than when he was at CNA. Only thing though, I'm not sure if CNN Pipeline's worth US$2.95/month for the kind of reports they're churning out. Pipeline's content itself seems very American-centric, which, as an international viewer, makes me wonder how it would be relevant (though we can actually watch an International feed which is similar to what we get on cable TV). Then again, CNN's always been very pro-America. The ABC's version here in Australia seems more comprehensive and global-centric, and it's free! But looks like most of the major news organisations in the world are moving towards paid subscription content, including the ABC in the US. And CNN's improved on its streaming quality tremendously compared to when they used to broadcast via Real Networks, which has now moved towards very entertainment sort of content. I wonder what Aljazeera's has lined up for it's online content, especially now that they've got their new international headquarters in KL. Time to re-think my career plans...sighz...
