On days when I ask myself, why journalism, I look back to remember these things:
"Access to information is a right. Information is power and much depends on the way it is communicated. It is through television that the strongest influence is exerted on our imaginative lives, and in shaping our perceptions of reality."

Exactly. And so therefore, any smart journalist will have an extra skill to fall back on.
